Here's what sets us apart from traditional dog trainers.
Will my dog lose their character?
Absolutely not - and this is one of the most important things we want you to understand. We are not here to suppress your dog or turn them into a robot. We want to bring out their true character and personality. The goal is a dog that is still fully themselves - curious, playful, loving, spirited - but one that can also listen, settle, and coexist with the world around them. The dog you fell in love with is still in there. We just help them find a way to show it.
I've been to another trainer and got nowhere - can you still help?
Yes, and you're not alone. A large number of our clients come to us after trying other trainers with little or no results. In some cases, previous training has actually made things worse. We start fresh - no assumptions, no judgement. We assess your dog as they are right now and build from there.
Do you work with aggressive or dangerous dogs?
Yes - it's what we specialise in. We regularly take on cases that other trainers have refused or given up on, including dogs with bite histories, severe human reactivity, and complex trauma. No dog is written off here.
Does my dog need an assessment first?
Yes, and it's the most important step. Every dog is different. We need to see your dog, understand their history, and identify exactly what's driving the behaviour before we can build a programme that will actually work. There are no shortcuts.
Can an older dog really change?
Yes. We see it regularly. Behaviour can be reshaped at any age - and we also receive referrals from vets and physiotherapists who recognise that pain or physical issues can be a root cause. Addressing the whole dog, not just the behaviour, is how we get lasting results.
What training methods do you use?
We don't follow a single rigid method. Every dog is assessed as an individual and we use whatever approach is right for them - drawing on a broad understanding of canine neurology, behaviour science, and practical experience. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all training.
Do you accept insurance claims?
Depending on your policy, we can work with some insurers. Get in touch and we'll let you know whether your cover applies.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We accept credit and debit cards, and payment plans are available. We don't want cost to be the reason you don't get your dog the help they need - speak to us and we'll find something that works.
Do you work alongside vets and physios?
Yes, and we think it's essential. Behaviour doesn't exist in isolation - pain, health conditions, and physical discomfort can all drive reactivity and aggression. We receive referrals from vets and physiotherapists and work closely with them to make sure your dog is getting everything they need.
We're based in Cowbridge, South Wales. We work with dogs locally and across the UK, and have also travelled internationally to support clients and rescues abroad.
Every programme is fully bespoke - no two dogs are the same, so no two programmes are priced the same. We'll give you a clear, honest quote after the assessment. Payment plans are available, and we don't want cost to be the reason you don't get your dog the help they need.
What should I bring to the assessment?
Just your dog and anything you'd normally take on a walk - their usual lead, harness, and any treats they respond to. Come as you are. We want to see your dog in their normal state, not a polished version.
How long does the programme take?
It depends entirely on your dog. Some make significant progress in a matter of weeks; others with more complex histories take longer. We'll give you an honest picture after the assessment - and we don't stop until you see real results.
